The other animals first made their appearance at the Affordable Art Fair café installation in 2019.

Using the traditional art medium of oil paints on wood panel, JJ takes the deadpan stare of an animal and adds a culinary twist on their crown. She's inspired by two main factors, first JJ at one time ran the public relations departments of the Maryland Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and sat on the board of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. In this capacity she was surrounded by the wonderful world of animal conservation and husbandry where she gained a love of all animals.

And second, by her daughter who as a child would place the first bit of every meal on top of her head!
