I first created these sculptures to stand on the top of my exhibition wall watching over people as they looked at the hanging art. Inspired by Maurizio Cattelan’s, 1997 Turisti exhibit, I called them, “The Locals”. The sculptures took on a life of their own. There are literally all over my studio, in fact I have one sitting on my desk looking at me right now!!

Later, I collaborated with my mom, a seamstress, to make the fabric pigeons!
