JJ Galloway's art is mouthwatering. She paints food and beverage themed art for sale, license and publication.
Chef's and their mastery of foods inspire her art. "I love food. I love everything about food. From the market, to the kitchen, to the table...I paint food because it invokes all the senses: smell, taste, touch, sounds, and sight."
JJ Galloway has shown her work in exhibitions in New York, LA, Chicago, D.C. and Miami. Her art can be found in collections worldwide.
When she's not in the studio painting, she teaches for the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. Galloway is a competitive sailor, a yogini, a wife and mother of two. Her home and studio are in the Annapolis, Maryland area.
JJ Galloway teaches weekly for the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. Every Friday she hosts and Open Studio from 1 pm to 5 pm. (NOTE - we take off July and August.) It's open to the public and no registration is required. Just drop in.
